Recently, the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced about to sanctioned a 20,000 Crore Rupees Scheme, under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. This scheme will address the basic framework holes for the fisheries area. This great news came after the third tranche of financial changes. Out of 20, 000 Crore Rupees, 11,000 crore Rupees will be spent on the exercise of marine, fisheries, aquaculture and inland. Another 9,000 Crore Rupees will be spent on assemble foundation such as cold chain and angling harbours.

Benefits of This Scheme
As we already mentioned that this scheme is launch to help the fisherman. The main target of this scheme is to increase the growth of horticulture, modernize the rural waste areas with fishery area. The main motto of this scheme is to use the wasteland of rural areas. The authorities then announced Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana(PMMSY) after a great discussion to build a strong and powerful fishery board and check the wastage holes in the worth chains. Through this scheme, the government of India will increase the popularity of “Blue Revolution” or “Neeli Kranti” by building a great structure of fisheries. It also incorporates MoFPI’s plans such as Food Parks, Infrastructure and Food Safety.

Implementation of This Scheme
The government announced a large amount of money for this purpose. They have a plan to spending Rs. 6000 and also required to hold speculation of about 31,000 crore Rupees. The treatment will be about 334 lakh MT agro-produce about 1 lakh 4 thousand 125 crore Rupees. Under this Matsya Sampada Scheme, approx 2 million ranchers will get the benefits and they will produce about 5lakh 30 thousand immediate work opportunities in the nation in 2019-20. The authority will set this plan for achieving about 15 million ton fish production in 2020 under the Blue Revolution and it must be raised up to 20 million tons by 2022-23.

Registration Process
