Phrase of this scheme. According to the government authority, the beneficiaries will get the financial assistance of Rs. 10000/- per annum if they qualifying the criteria according to the government. Under this scheme, the Auto Drivers, Cab Drivers, Auto Rickshaw Drivers, Taxi Drivers and other light vehicles drivers will get the benefit.

Headed by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh government wanted to give an upliftment to the lives of drivers. The authority has recently declared a second period of the Vahana Mitra plan for giving the financial help to auto, cab, taxi and other light vehicle drivers. All the eligible drivers will get the financial assistance of Rs. 10000/- per annum.  The Chief Minister said that this scheme will help the drivers in this lockdown situation. He said, “All application procedure would be finished by 26^th May through the village and ward Secretaries.”

Implementation of AP Auto Driver Scheme

The implementation process of this scheme is very simple. The implementation of this scheme has been designed according to the financial condition and education level of the applicant. All the drivers can submit and make their applications at the Me-Service, CSC, E-Service, MDO and Municipal Commissioner’s Offices. The applicants can also make the application from town and ward volunteers to make the application procedure simpler. According to the official report, this program would be propelled on 4^th June.
