The state government of Karnataka recently launched this Karnataka Solar Pump Distribution scheme across the state to provide solar pumps to the farmers. Under this scheme, the government will replace the old pumps of the farmers with the new solar pumps. Through the implementation of this scheme, the government aims to increase the production of the agricultural field. These pumps will distribute for the purpose of good irrigation. Now, the farmers’ electricity bill will be reduced respectively as the new water pumps don’t need any fuel or electricity connection to start. The pumps will work by solar energy.
