According to the present SOP, About the 07 districts of Assam facing full lockdown. Among all, Jorhat ad Golaghat increased one-day lockdown more and it lasts till the 15th July 2021. As the Golaghat and Jorhat District witnessed a huge number of COVID positive cases so that the period of Lockdown is going to increase for one day.
During the lockdown in these districts, all shops including the retail, vegetable, and fruit shops except pharmacies will remain closed. Recently, the CM of Assam State Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma told about the Inter-District Movement that, “Assam’s COVID 19 situation has not improved enough to allow for the inter-district movement of people of entire Assam.”
