DMW Scholarship 2021 Apply Online: Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Registration: Recently, the state government of Kerala has announced and launched a new scheme for the citizen of the entire state. This is mainly a welfare scheme named as DMW Scholarship. This is a scholarship scheme, under which the needy students of the state will get direct financial benefit from the government officials. The Department of Minority Development, Kerala has started this scheme for the minority students who need immediate help from the government officials.

All those students who are belonging to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) will get the benefit of this scheme online (they must belong to Minority Category). This scholarship will be provided to the meritorious students who are belonging to the minority communities such as Christian, Buddhism, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, or Parsi, pursuing education at the SSLC, Plus 2, and Vocational Higher Education (VHSE) level in the Kerala state.

As the last date of this DMW Scholarship Scheme or Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Scheme was February 5th, 2021, but the new notification will be coming soon, according to the government officials.

Eligibility Criteria

All those students who are willing and wanted to apply for this scheme online must read and check the eligibility criteria before going to apply for this scholarship scheme online:

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala state.
  • Applicants must have legal and original documents.
  • The candidate must have a bank account in any of the Nationalized banks of India.
  • Candidates’ Aadhar cards must be linked with their bank accounts (optional).
  • Those candidates must belong to the minority communities such as Christian, Buddhism, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, or Parsi.
  • The student must belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
  • Candidates must be pursuing education from any government and government-aided school/ institution.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must not be more than 8,00,000 Rupees.

  • An amount of Rs. 10,000 will be awarded to the SSLC students who have A+ grades in all subjects as a scholarship.
  • All the minority UG level students who have 80% and above percentage marks will eligible to get the scholarship amount of Rs. 15,000 under this scheme.
  • All the minority PG level students who have 75% and above percentage marks will eligible to get the scholarship amount of Rs. 15,000 under this scholarship scheme in Kerala.
