Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu state.
- Families yearly income must be below Rs. 2 lakh.
- Applicants must belong to the backward category and community such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS category.
- Applicant’s age must be between 6 to 14 years.

The online application procedure of Tamil Nadu RTE Admission will be beginning on 27 August 2020 and last until 25 September 2020. All the interested candidates who are wanted to admission in reputed schools must follow the following steps carefully to apply online for RTE Tamilnadu Admission:
- First of all, visit the official website of RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2020-21.
- Now, the homepage will appear on your screen.
- Go to the “Start Application” link from the homepage.
- After that, a new window will appear with some basic instructions. Read them carefully and click on “Proceed”.
- Now, an application form will simply appear in front of you.
