About Odisha Prerana Scholarship 2020-21

Categories of Group to distribute Odisha Prerana Scholarship 2020-21
To distribute financial help through scholarship, the government has divided the students into four categories to distribute the scholarship amount. The following groups are:
◦Group I
Under this group, the students who are studying Graduation and Post Graduation level courses like Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and Veterinary CPL courses, Post Graduate Diploma in Medicine and Management. PhD and M.Phil, Accountancy courses, Post Doctoral Programme, LLM, etc are there.
◦Group II
Under this group, the General Graduation and Post Graduation degrees, Diploma and Certificate in Pharmacy, Paramedical, Nursing Course, LLB, Mass Communication, Interior Decoration, hotel Management, Postgraduate courses like MA/M.COM/M.SC/M.Ed/M.Pharma, etc. are there.
◦Group III
Under this group, the +3 courses are there.
◦Group IV
Under this scheme, ITI, 12TH 03 years and 02 year Diploma of Vocational Education courses is there.

Incentives under This Scholarship
The incentives are good if you are wanted to applying for this scheme. The following incentives are:

◦ Technical will be given Rs. 28500/-.
◦ Also, the monthly maintenance amount will be provided to all students under this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this scheme are very simple. You should follow some basic criteria to grab this scholarship scheme.
◦ The applicant who is applying must be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
◦ The applying applicant must belong to backwards categories.
◦ The annual household income of SC/ST students should not exceed to Rs. 2,50,000/-.
◦ The annual household income of OBC/SEBC students should not exceed to Rs. 1, 50,000/-.
◦ The annual household income of EBC students should not exceed to Rs. 1, 00,000/-.
◦ The applying applicant must have to score at least 50% marks in the previous year/class examination.

Selection Procedure of Prerana Scholarship
The selection procedure of this scholarship scheme will be done on based on the Merit. The overall selection procedure will be given below:

- After that, those officers will sanction the applications and select the students for the scholarship.
